  • @MarineMick excellent news on being able to stay on Mick , was you one of the guys that came to StIves in Cornwall on your tour of all the stations approx 1999-2000.

  • @zrxsheep Yes indeed I was in St Ives on that tour. I organised it from the beginning in1997 and we just finished up this year in Isaly. We visited every station from Jersey to Aith over the years and had a mighty time.

  • Thats an awesome feat mate well done to you all hope you are all well and keeping busy you gave me a book on the visit and i tried and tried to get a gift sent to you but to no avail which i was both disappointed and disgusted at and embarrassed to be honest , i have read the book cover to cover on many occassions and 1 day if this illness rests for a while im coming up to meet you all again hopefully stay safe Mick and all the best to you all.

  • But isn't there a better way to launch the Lifeboat more quickly??. From when the lads are summoned it must take a long time to get going.

  • i gonna love the song. it is my memory for the year as a au pair. my oldest boy was singing the chorus and he was so into the lifeboat :)

  • thanks mick a lovely clip

  • Excellent i still have the book you guys gave me , i was the only 1 in the St Ives Station at that time so we must of met, as i asked our then DLA to send you guys a StIves Station Flag.
