Khmers's Kids got Deported! 'cause the scrimes they did in the states! Either all or most of them used to live in the States of California! But now they tellin' their side of stories how they got there! Their new home which was their birth's places but they never though how rough and tough it is just to stay Survive in the new wild world city of Phnom Penh............!

This narrative was excellent!!If this were edited and sent to a film festival it would definetly rack up awards, cannes, sundance and all the rest!! I'm PuertoRican from NY and our history is one of colonialism and all the trappings that come with it. The Cambodian Returnee narrative is depressing but also inspirational. I'm definetely passing this on to all my peeps!!

The documentary is raw indeed!! Here one witnesses a price one paid in the pursuit of the American dream. Clearly, pursuing an American dream through gang and a life of violence do not appear to pay off as it first reflected by the returnees. If anything, the consequence of employing violence as a mean to achieve an American dream is a journey into purgatory by which a man is forced to confront his violent past deeds and the violence legacy of his people.

I rather like in laos then in the united states. here, you have a job but you still have to pay for to live. This country is all about debt. In laos, you don't need a job as long as you have a land to plant your garden. This country is a stressful country.
