Allison & Lillia Trailer

One of the two trailers of the 2008 adventure anime Allison and Lillia. The anime is based off the two light novel series by the venerable author Keiichi Sigsawa, famous for his work "Kino's Journey." It was made by Madhouse and aired between April and October and never got a lot of recognition because 2008 was the year of Gundam 00, Xam'd, and Spice and Wolf.

This will be the anime I will be covering in my next review, since I recently purchased the English release DVDs by Sentai Filmworks. Enjoy the sneak peek.

@FadeAwayIntoDarkness Well the main problem with the show was how it simply degenerated as a whole as it progressed with the plot-writing tanking the hardest. Combine that with the fact that most people will prefer the Allison and Will romance set up and prefer the former rather than Lillia and Treize simply because Allison and Will foiled a lot better than the next gen. Add that with the fact that Allison and Will also had 2 helper main characters while Lillia and Trieze were by themselves.

Not many people like this anime but I really enjoyed it. The soundtrack was one of the best things about it. Give me something with an old fashioned charm and I am hooked.
