the white stuff is a cream that most places put on before threading to make it less painful.

for me it was 11 dollars.

it really doesn't hurt that much. i think less than waxing and waxing actually removes the top layer of skin, leaving you more prone to breakouts and irritation.

on a scale of 1-10 i would also say about a 5 or 6. if you can handle waxing,you can definately handle this. also, they do it on the upper lip too. but that is more painful because the area is more sensitive than the eyelid. who knows why. i'd say the pain for that is about 7.
