After a long, very cold winter, south Georgia is finally exploding with pollen -- I mean -- beautiful azaleas! The joy of spring, and the beauty of the flowers (plus the delirium caused by all the pollen) inspired Barry Z. Hyatt of Valdosta, Georgia, to perform "The Azalea Dance." -- an original interpretive work. Photographs and videography by Haley Hyatt. Director, Leo Hyatt. April 2010.
@martinidick Guess we're just going to have to try harder, then. :)

@martinidick Also appears to have affected their feet, as well.

@smokebetty Thanks -- glad you liked it! We really appreciated your suggestions. Yep, that purple/fuschia color clash was just the right touch. Good to have input from a real pro. Great Valdosta - NYC collaborative team effort here. Though Leo thinks he deserves the most credit, of course.

This dance really captured the beauty of the flowers. I'm glad I suggested the wearing of purple. It goes well with the azaleas. Good job!

I think it's the pollen going to someone's head?
