Elmhurst (IL) - Elmhurst College freshman RB James "Jimmy" Jenkins announced earlier today that he has committed to the University of Salisbury for the 2010 football season. Jenkins, who finished his 2009 freshman campaign with 364 yards and two touchdowns, cited homesickness and girls as major contributing factors. "I got this homesickness, and the medicine was at Salisbury, so I gotta pick it up." Jenkins stated that he looks forward to what the future holds and hopes for a successful 2010 season out east. Elmhurst College, who finished 4-6 overall in 2009, will miss Jenkins as they contend for a CCIW title in 2010. Elmhurst College Head Football Coach Tim Lester was unavailable for comment.
