  • im thinking of getting 1 of these, for 150$, or a cold steel war hammer for 65, what do you think i should get?

  • @carlyle0229 For self defense either would be a good choice and you would get more reach with the war hammer but if you plan on building a shelter felling trees clearing brush etc ... I would recommend the kukri it just depends on what your needs are.

  • I have that same knife and I LOVE IT!! the scabbard is junk and the 2 little knives are ok once you sharpen them but the don't really hold an edge well. The khukuri is awesome though!! I cleared my vine infested hillside with it alone in 1 day and never had to stop and sharpen it! Wish Ida took video and posted it but oh well. I just ordered the khukuri house beast directly from Nepal. I can't wait to get it!!!

  • @7689568 The 3 chirra kukri is an awesome blade congratgulations on your purchase I plan on gettin one myself when funds allow.

  • I ordered one of these from bud k ,waiting for it to arrive. Now that you've had it for near a year how to you review it?Still holding up well?

  • @rlta04 It is still holding up well, I would recommend a light coat of oil after use as it is carbon steel and will rust. For 20 bucks I Don't expect much but for the money I am satisfied with my purchase.

  • Get a real one from Nepal

  • fake 1, real ones are made in nepal... india?? wtf... they look like a khukuri but the real sirupate khukris are longer and lighter.. perfection

  • you do know that the semi sharp utility knife is a flint striker and that the other is used like a sharpening steel once you've put a proper edge on the blade right?

  • @CCWHOOSIER well, i dont really live in a wooded area, i just want it for zombie killing!

  • Great deal for 20 dollars

  • Yeah, the kukri I bought, this model by the way, only came with one of the little knives, I initially tried using a rough stone to sharpen it, trust me this only works for a bit and then you have a stone smooth as a baby's bottom, but I got it a little bit more expensive because I bought it at the Renaissance Fair in Maryland, but I took it out still dull and it still can chop clean through anything smaller than your wrist.

  • one of the smaller knives is a chakmak, its dull because its used to sharpen the khukuri and can be struck against flint to create sparks. The other knife is a kadra, its a utility knife to do smaller jobs. Ask khukuri house on their website to mail you a scabbard, or buy a genuine one from them.
