@jrtorres1337 Yeah Magnaflow is more of a thick, bassy sound while Flowmaster is a little more rough sounding. Kind of like an old car in my opinion.
-
@chrislksrockets what muffler number was it if you recall?
-
what muffler number is it?
-
@lsulogan0423 same here, id like to know what size it is
-
I actually like it versus the stock sound. Tacomas always had this certain exhaust note that annoyed me. I like this one.
-
right..tacomas are v6..they just aint gonna sound as good as tht roar you get from a v8..thats why im leaving my exhaust alone. cause sometimes, being quiet comes in handy(;
-
I have the same truck and i love it, i'ld like a little more aggressive sound but i don't want anything that's gonna be loud and this seems like what i'm looking for, what size is the muffler?
-
@ride2die812 No problem.
-
@Thaigamefowl i dont have a intake but it sould sound ok.
Thanks ill upload it when its done and send it to u
-
@ride2die812 It should, plus you got a bigger motor than I do. I got the 3.4L. Right after I had the super 44 on, it really turn heads. If you already put on an cold air intake like mine, it should sound good, but as you already know, every application is different from each other. Good luck and upload yours when its done.
It sounds really stock. What a waste of money lol.

It seems that both flowmaster and Magnaflow sound nice...but which would you prefer? Or perhaps Straight Pipe? LOL.
