with Bill Maher
In Theaters October 3rd
Known for his stance against religion, Bill Maher's views on the various world religions are explored as he travels to numerous religious destinations, such as Jerusalem, the Vatican, and Salt Lake City, interviewing believers from a variety of backgrounds and groups, including Jews for Jesus, Muslims, polygamists, Satanists, Hasidic scholars and even Rael of the Raelian Movement.[2][3] In the trailer and documentary Maher also interviews research neuroscientist Andrew Newberg, MD, (author of Why We Believe What We Believe) who brain-scans people at the University of Pennyslvania as they pray, meditate and speak in tongues. The documentary was produced by Thousand Words and is being distributed by Lionsgate. Originally slated for intentional release date coinciding with the religious Easter holiday 2008, post-production delays resulting from a screenwriters guild strike pushed the release date back to July 11, 2008.[4] Release has now been pushed back to October 3, 2008.[5]

  • @SouthernSMoke91 totally agree with u , only problem is these people are sooo stupid that they will find thier way around facts, the world would be a better place with no religion

  • Religion is the world's longest lasting trolling operation. I tip my hats to them, even though I don't believe in it, they still pulled off an incredible feat.

  • @rockero1590 de todos aqui creo que tu comentario es el unico no ofensivo, bien por ti carnal, me vale que seas creyente o no creyente, tienes madures y respeto y al final eso es lo que cuenta

  • Even as a Catholic i loved it, its so funny it hurts, i dont care about the other ppl, for me this was funny as shit.i believe in live and let die, i dont go around saying "believe or die modafucka!", for me everybody who argues with other ppl over religion are stupid and plain immature. Bill did a great job, my favorite one was the interview with the puertorican Jesus Christ hahahaha hilarious

  • why is this fight between athiests and people with religion keep continuing??

Athiests have DIRECT FACTS on why there is no god, and the christians/muslim (whatever religion) keep defending by using arrogant, emotional answers. it makes me very angry how in the year 2011, stupid idiots are defending and relying on something that has not been proven, and all their belief is from TALK and TALK and TALK from the past generation, who was just as stupid as them. not to mention, words on a book.

  • freedom of religion is important, but I have experience with a sect, my mother is a member of the raelians, so with all the problems that gave it my parent are gonna divorce, so they should watch sects better, cause theyre givin problems

  • yes its called the..... Moshogodomadata

  • @MrFlangie
