@OhhBabyLeelee That's awesome that you do that and kids cans till enjoy these videos. And keeping kids quiet and under control is a plus!

@nickagneta omg, i thought the same thing (about holding a child*s attention), so i tried it out. i teach 1 & 2 year olds in daycare & always show them classic sesame street clips when they 1st wake up from nap (so that they kind of stay quiet & let those who are still sleeping have peace & quiet. lol*). they LOVE them! i showed them this one, & the music seemed to hypnotize them. it makes me happy that the SS i grew up w/ still has an effect on today*s kids! :D

I always loved those animal bits on Sesame Street. Not sure if they do enough of these anymore. 2/3 to 1/2 of the show is Elmo's World.
Sadly, this probably wouldn't hold a kid's attention these day.

@DavidFick I love those changes! Kind of - 'equivocal'!

As for me I hate sesame street but I own seahorses and you need work your way up

@Sparkina Yes, it's pretty, but the brief transitions at 0:51 and 1:37 were a bit too mysterious-sounding for me (haunting and a bit "creepy" --that's the whole-tone scale for you, just like the eerie-sounding instrumental opening of Stevie Wonder's "You are the Sunshine of My Life"). I can honestly say that those two brief passages were enough to make me a bit nervous about running into a seahorse in my early nautical outings.

As a kid raised on Sesame Street I had very few other points of reference educationally until primary school. This particular video would prove the source of a 35-year-long misconception on my part (obviously one that I carried well into adulthood), which was that the size of a seahorse was more or less equivalent to that of a tenor or alto saxophone. Apparently, they're much smaller.

Surprisingly enough, the seahorse is the only animal in the world in which the FATHER gives birth to the babies, not the mother.
I loved this as a kid and even to this day I am intrigued by seahorses I always wanted a pet one but never got one...yet

I heard they don't live as long in captivity as they normally would :-( ...something to consider
