My favorite from MSI would have to be the MSI 790-FX. The whole 4-WAY AMD CrossFireX support. :P

I wouldn't touch an MSI motherboard even if I payed for it. I've had nothing but trouble with them.

then its pci-e 2.0 then because i know for sure I read it had an nf200

on asuses website in the forum one said

1.)X58 Express Chipset B3 (SLGMX) stepping

2.)USB 3.0

3.)SATA 3.0 6Gbps

4.)Supports DDR3 Tri Channel beyond 2000 Mhz

5.)Supports Intel 32nm processor i7 980X Extreme Edition

so no pci-e 3.0 until x68 i guess
