Danielle Clauson scores at the buzzer to lead Concordia University Portland to a 63-61 win over College of Idaho in the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) women's basketball championship game on Feb. 28, 2011. Concordia, which trailed by 14 points early in the second half, also won the CCC regular season title. Clauson, a senior from Edmonds, Wash, is the conference's player of the year.
I love how no one with negative comments could hit a game winning shot. Most would crack under pressure and wouldn't have the guts to bounce a ball off someone's back. Blame the ref, blame the blown 12-point lead, but don't blame a sweet play.

I think the most surprising thing here is that there were so many people at a women's basketball game. Who watches women's basketball anyway?

Normally the scorekeeper takes its cue from the referee who you'll see lowers his hand slowly. Also, the scorekeeper probably was waiting on the pass to be completed. By the time they realized that it wasn't a pass, they hit the clock. The joy of a trick play is that you get the advantage of the unexpected and that includes a missed call by the ref!
