Constitutionally, the President is supposed to be a servant to the American people, not the other way around. To say that you're willing to be a servant to the President is to basically say, "I hereby give up all my rights as a free American Citizen & that I accept a Socialist Dictatorship in place of Democracy." It's bullshit that anyone pledge servitude to anyone, especially a President. If they had made a video like that for Bush (especially), everyone would be going crazy with protest.

Those people have it all backwards. The position of president is to be the greatest public servant to the nation. Penn makes a good argument, would all these Hollywood people made the same pledge to G.W. Bush? Certainly nothing in there about pledging to protect our constitutional rights. But then every last person in that video is a far cry from those who made a pledge to give us freedom, not with their empty words but their lives.
