But ms blackmoore is right. Sorry belivers, but she cannot come with a alternative scientific explanation, because right now there isnt any. New phisics are still in development and most is only theoretic and or hypothetical. If some new evidences come up, it will be a different matter, but right now. This is the best explanation. But everybody is free to belive what they chose to belive. And IMO soon new evidences will show up. But it will take some more time.

@MrSupertypo What is the best explanation ? I guess you meant to say a physiological explanation. That's your opinion. In my opinion, none of the scientific explanations (drugs, hallucinations, anoxia, endorphins) are correct because they don't account for all the features of the NDE, or when they do it's partially or inaccurately. For me the best theory is the one proposed by Dr. Pim van Lommel.
