Mashup: Linkin Park - My December & Valentines Day

Just a quick thing I did yesterday. The song may not be perfect, but here and there I think it sounds awesome:)
The songs are "My December" (the version from the Re:animation-album) and "Valentines Day" (from Minutes To Midnight).

@danielalien 2 Questions. 1: What programm do you use? and 2: could you tell me the "basics" of remixing? im using audacity at the moment. not the best, but you can make some interesting things with it as well ( Also because of the VST- Plugins...)

1. Adobe Audition 3.0

2. You hear a song and realize you can sing a different song simultaneously, without it sounding horrible (like Jason Derulo "In My Head" and Lady Gaga "Just Dance"). You put both in a mixing program. You check if they really can be played side by side without the melodies sounding off. You adjust the rythm, so that they play at the same tempo, and adjust the pitch to make sure they actually mash, and not just when you sing it in YOUR OWN key.

A lot more straightforward than your other stuff. Like Arkan said, less daring but it's very good. Love these two songs, glad you chose the Reanimation version of My December over the original; came out great.
