you have to understand or try to understand the mind of Schism separation or division of self.. trying to make sense of it all, sometimes it makes no sense.. just when we think we have it figured out we don't.. I KNOW THE PIECES FIT.. SOMEHOW THEY FIT!! But does everything have to fit.. I try to make them fit and sometimes they make even less sense than before.. Gets complicated very vague not clear the more I obsess to get an answer, frustration, disillusionment etc.. If I would just accept

You're not supposed to "get" the video the way they intended it. That's part of what Tool is. Come up with a meaning for yourself, use your imagination, let it have it's own personal meaning.

@Candy01011 their guitarist, Adam Jones, does a lot of the art and video concepts for them. Alex Grey works closely with them on album art and videos as well.

@TheDRAGONMACK I see how Tool can be confusing...ummm, I think this video is displaying evolution, relationships, lets see, the falling apart of people and how we treat eachother--demons within ourselves. The song, the music the lryics make me think of finding communication on a higher level, what technology cannot see yet....and how bitter we can get if we get lost in what is not important to the human species and the world/universe..thats just what I get from it at least.
