This is a short video of my fantastic 1974 Triumph 2.5pi, it is a pre-facelift model. It has full a stainless steel Chris Witor Race exhaust and induction kit fitted to injection system, sounds fantastic!.

  • Nice looking car.

  • Hi. Believe it or not I have just bought this car. Had a PI problem which caused massive overfuelling on No5 (hydraulic locked) - turned out that a rubber seal had left out of the MU when stripped it at some time - seal was still lying around under the bonnet!

Guy was going to break car in exasperation so I bought it because it did not deserve such a fate. Now for the MOT.

As a matter of interest would love to know what work did you do to it when in your possession?

    Ted

  • Good call mate !

We were'nt posh, so my Dad just had the 2000, it had an overdrive click switch on the gear stick head - a good feature.

I think it came in "DSB" (Dog **** Brown).

Being only 14 at that time only got to drive it on disused airfields.

    Thanks

  • I spent the whole video waiting for a start up! Love the sound
