I i have a comment to make ,,, a person is not sealed until GOd Saves them ... now the people that fall away or willingly rebell against the knowledge and truth of GOd ... in hebrews 10 and hebrews 6----are trusting in their own works and righteousness to save them , rather then seeking GOds Mercy and Grace for Salvation , and patiently waiting on HIm............

Thanks for this explanation! Those verses scared the crap out of me! I have another question. What if I'm willing to obey God's moral laws and go to church, but I constantly battle skepticism? Even though the Bible could still be true, I see no evidence that it is and therefore find it 'irrational' to "just believe". Why must people be expected to accept Christ without evidence in the real world like the first apostles also had?

@meangreen4321 Hi meangreen, My response would have to be much longer than what I can post on this comment section. So would you mind if I wrote up a response and sent it to you in YouTube messaging.
And if you say yes, it might take me a day or two to sit down and write up a good response because i have things going on.
Be blessed,
Damon

I doubt that anyone but God has an answer to my question, but if you think you have a reasonable response to why God doesn't reveal himself... I'll consider it. The issue is that I approach the Bible from a "historical-critical" perspective. For example, comparing the earliest gospel of Mark with the gospel of John raises many questions about what Jesus actually taught historically as opposed to what was simply attributed to him.

@meangreen4321 I think I can give reasonable answers for your concerns. So look for a mail from me in a few days. If you don't receive it, could you send me a reminder. I have so much going on and am prone to forget things :):):)

@meangreen4321 Thanks for the reminder meangrean :-)
I for sure would have forgotten without this reminder. I have a couple of things to do this morning but will respond in a few hours. Thanks for your patience.
