Unreal: Return to Na Pali - (01) Intro

Return to Na Pali, made by Epic Games/Digital Extremes, is the official and only expansion pack, also known as mission pack, to the original game Unreal. It was released about a year after its predecessor on May 31, 1999.

The story continues right after where the original ended and follows yet again the journey of Prisoner 849. The basic story is that a human vessel by the name UMS Bodega Bay finds the escape shuttle that our hero left off in and picks it up; they learn about 849's adventure on the surface of the planet and decides to use him on a mission to retrieve vital information about a vessel called the UMS Prometheus that crash landed on Na Pali a time ago - 849 doesn't have much of a choice but to accept it. And so begins the Return to Na Pali episode.

I will not spoil the rest of the story here so if you want to know what happens in the game just sit back and watch the videos! As with my Unreal video walkthrough I will stop and open up the Translator whenever a message pops up; I'll only have it open for a few seconds so in case you're not a fast reader I recommend you pause the video.

Finally, I decided to play on the medium difficulty because I haven't finished the game more than a couple of times and believe me, RtNP can be quite hard in certain areas.
