@AyeYirMa thought the same. i'd expect that argument from Fox News but not from BBC news

I don't get religious people. They get mad when we educate them on atheism AND give evidence, yet it's okay for them to preach to us about following Jesus. They go all over the world spreading christianity and don't get any shit like we do.

Atheism is not a 'belief system'. All it is is saying you don't believe in any of the man-made bullshit Gods that have been created- i.e. being atheist in one God more than a religious person.
-
yeah its not like there is an "atheist book" which has the explicit words in it "kill all non-atheists", and we tell people "you dont have to do this, but, believe in this and dont question it." that is a MAJOR difference, and OBVIOUSLY a worry for people, how is that hard to understand?? especially as many religious people are very irrational, even when it comes to very basic things.

Whats the music at the start.

Of course there are other reasons for disputes among humans besides religion but they're not motivated by nor unleashed in the name of God.

@halflifeproductionz Richard is more badass than Hitchens, since he has the total yet understated intellectual superiority over pretty much anyone he argues with, and subtly shatters the others' arguments without ever losing his temper.
-
The guy interviewing Richard is a fucking retard. He thinks atheism is a belief system... /facepalm
-
I don't see the equivalency at all either. It's all a matter of ignorancy I guess, but I tend to value decence.
The interviewer is a bit thick. It was obvious Richard Dawkins was saying Stalin didn't do anything in the name of atheism but most of humanities atrocities are comitted in the name of religion and he was just cherry picking Dawkins' words.
