One of the guys I interviewed said he though the union and the company were "playing poker". I don't believe that anyone thinks playing a game with people's jobs is a good idea, so I wonder, where is our governor? Did he not ask to be dealt in? And, as long as I'm using reaching analogies here, what gives with the union? (I know the contract offer may have looked bad, but I belive they were still offering jobs in that contract. There are a lot of folks in WI who would love a shot at one of those.) If you and your family are drowning and someone throws you one of those floaty rings, do you say, "Nope. I wanted an inflatable dinghy. I'll wait for one of those." I'm concerned that the folks of Stillwater, OK will happily grab onto the life rings while the union in Fond du Lac waits for dinghies that Mercury Marine isn't sending. I think a lot of people in Fond Du Lac are concerned about the same thing.
