Actually, Metroid Prime first came out in 2002 for GameCube. Hunters first came out in 2006 for DS. Check Wikipedia if you don't believe me.
I don't know why the screen went off. It could be because I had the TV set to HD and the console not set to HD. I haven't had any problems since I set the console to HD.

I realized it was the gamecube version when it showed the little analog stick on the screen. The DS version was the first, Echoes (for the gamecube) is second in the series while Corruption is third in the series Its like Metried Prime: Hunters (DS), Metroid Prime: Echoes(GameCube), and Metroid Prime: Corruption(Wii) :D Also, why did the screen go off in the middle of the video?

This is the original (Gamecube) version of the first Prime game. I didn't know that it was available for DS now, but it was originally for Gamecube. I've also done Let's Play Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Wii. That Let's Play is complete.

Which Metroid Prime is this? 1 (for the DS) 2 (got the GameCube) or 3 (for the Wii)?
