Gibson SG

Imported from the US in 2004 this ebony SG is an absolute monster. This one has a real distinctive inner voice. Think Mick Taylor / Rolling Stones c1969 but with more grunt. The 60's style neck is really comfortable and fast with a nice dark rosewood fretboard with 22 well dressed medium frets. The power comes from the Gibson 490R and 498T Alnico humbuckers that can blow your head off but stay sweet at the same time with a roll of the volume pot.

Weighing in at a featherweight 6.9lbs the overall balance is really good. This guitar has been played and gigged but is in great condition for a 6 year old guitar. Its has a very thin Nitro-cellulose finish which shows some rubbing on the back and pick marks on the pickguard but none of which break through the finish. This guitar has been well cared for and is set-up right and stays in tune
