The trade unions which are run by corporations which are run by fiat debt are the big losers here in America. "Small buisness" cannot compete with labor rackets. It's that simple. Trade union workers remain working class, corporations can do no wrong (democratic state support), fiat debt suddenly has a reason to exsist through debt. It's an ugly structure within a country that doesn't want it.
Expasion of a dying Empire is a poor reason to provide healthcare and education. The majority of people in the country didn't have access to those services, and the ones that did would be supporters of the communist government.
I agree with you that women's rights are important to fight for and will be key if Afghanistan wishes to pull itself out of poverty. The most effective way the west can help the Afghans is surprisingly by eliminating drug prohibition.
I was just stating how weird it is to say that it was a corrupt government because thats all Afghanistan has ever had
I defend it as a government that would have helped Afghanistan because it had the best Health care and education there... another thing it had women's right which is something we have to fight to put back in place... Much like Iran now a terrorist state and 70 years ago elected a secular government
"umm okay? corrupt government in Afghanistan? lol oh no"
It's hard to tell what you meant by that, but I inferred from it that you didn't think the Soviet-Afghan government was corrupt. And if you do believe the government was corrupt, then why defend it so fervently?

Afghanistan is not really a government. If you think about it.
Warlords own most but governments say they control parts but they dont much like Columbia
the only way to have a free Afghanistan is for outside forces to do nothing there because THey are not democratic and never will be.
Much of the problem is with the drug war 1/3 of the economy is from Heroine and USA cant grow it(but should) so it goes to criminals.
