I learned about Baskin & Copperbottom in a Rubettes article in Record Collector magazine, and of their TOTP appearance. If I recall the article correctly, they stepped in when when someone else was unable to fulfil their TOTP roll
I'm amazed that the clip still exists. Many artists weren't so lucky

The boys voices sound fantastic together. I can see where the Rubette's sound came from . If you want to see the sun guys come here to Australia. 40 degrees plus for weeks .

Fan depuis longtemps des Rubettes (je les ai vu en vrai mais en 1994), ça fait vraiment plaisir d'entendre une si belle chanson. J'aimerai tant la trouver sur CD... Superbe voix de Alan et surtout de John grâce à qui je suis devenu "batteur" !
