Yeah, Kenichi's a total wimp. He's always getting picked on and doesn't have a lot of friends to stick up for him. The guy needs motivation if he hopes to graduate in one piece. Well, Miu's the perfect motivation.
ya but that happens with a lot of Japanese shows translated into English so it's no surprise. some things in Japanese sound awesome. yet when translated it looses it's strength, so they change it up a bit to regain that impact the words had in English.
so how can you not see that the title "KENICHI THE MIGHTEST DISCIPLE" is the same with the japanese title? the asian title is almost backwards word for word when translated. i see why funimation had to rearrange a little
i can see your points but the fact remains the english title given isn't as epic as the original because its just implies that he is the mightiest among a group of students. but what the original title was meant to imply is that he is the strongest among all who have come before him which is the way it was intended. i said this because i happen to think that when you translate something it should be accurate and i don't see how the english title is more apealing ? i actually think the opposite
@kilibe023 maybe they are not trying to translate the title exactly. English and Japanese are different languages, and also different cultures. In North America, they might have believed the title would be more appropriate the way they listed it and they are right. The proper way to write that in English is the way they have,
this is funny cause yet again they have miss translated the title of this anime. the proper translation is actually histories strongest disciple kenichi i know cause i have watch the japanese dub of this and had this confirmed by friends who actually speak the language. you would think that it would be so simple but apparently its not.
i want to find the song in this trailer any ideas
