If you drop anything into the deep fryer, water, chemicals, run away, if your dropping fries or hashbrowns or any food, you stand back as you dip it in. I remember this one time I was watching my mother do deep fryer and the grill over her shoulder, she flipped a burger and a little bit flung onto my arm. I took it off carefully and she didn't know luckily, but I noticed a burn mark, so now I watch her, far away.
