La Organización del Atlántico Norte (OTAN) actualmente reunida en Chicago, Estados Unidos, fue creada en 1949 durante la Guerra Fría con el objetivo de contener posibles ataques contra sus países miembros, sin embargo hace varios años que no hay razón para su existencia, más aún cuando violó sus principios elementales y los Derechos Humanos a lo largo de su historia. Bombardeando a la ex Yugoslavia en 1999 rompió el principio de no atacar sin ser atacada; ocupó en 2001 Afganistán y Pakistán y en 2003 invadió Irak; en 2011 intervino en Libia cometiendo crímenes de guerra, como en los casos anteriores. teleSUR
