Twenty thousand additional U.S. uniformed troops, set to be trained by 2011, are to help as a response to the threat of a possible mass terror attack or civil unrest following an economic collapse. But despite assurances from the Pentagon, many Americans are worried by the prospect of seeing the military guard in the streets.
they don't want a revolution, they are building up troops in case.

@ShinEmperor When you start a journey, do you start with a single step, or do you leap five miles?

I see that the riots taking place around the world will soon be like those that will soon take place in America. Our "leaders" have known for years where our economy is headed and are getting ready to take on the people for fighting for individual liberties. They will call this terrorism so that their actions will be justified. This video just shows that they have known. Watch for Ron Paul. He is trying to get into office to stop what has already been taking place. He has been trying since 1988.

@patches53 Terrorist attack, no. Civil unrest = the people are not too happy with the direction of our country and are free to address those issues to their elected officials.

@Slurken Yes I have. I'm just a working man worried about family, home & what will happen if law & order breaks down. Here in the UK, during the summer, looters & rioters took what they wanted, smashed up people's homes, businesses & ruined lives & livelihoods. They made no distinction between big companies or small businesses. A guy was beaten, rucksack rifled through & stuff stolen. A young girl had to jump for her life from an upstairs window of a building that had been set on fire. I worry.

@patches53 You make the assumption that you're not the reason for this deployment. Where are you going to be when the system has collapsed and martial law is being imposed ? Have you seen the military activity in Egypt right now ?

So I have a question for those that say "Ooooh, it's a bad thing":
Would you rather preparations be made in case of an attack or civil unrest or just sit back and do nothing and if and when something happens mayhem prevails?
"The best defence is a good offence".
