1 in 3? If you throw in groping and verbal harassment to inflate the numbers, then 1 in 3 doesn't seem so high. If they're going to say the number, they should provide a link so we can check it straight from the source.

Most underreported crime? I doubt it. I'd expect the most underreported crime to be providing alcohol/tobacco to minors, traffic violations, shoplifting, littering, marijuana, something of that nature people take less seriously.

@allzago the number of false rape accusations is in the 2-8% range (ndaa.org/pdf/the_voice_vol_3_­no_1_2009.pdf) excuse the lack of a DoJ link here but i recall reading this is about the same---lower for some crimes---than other false reports. the "zomg wimmin cry rape all the time" line is so trite i almost can't believe it still gets thrown around.

The complaint is about false statistics and lies that lead to people saying things like "all men are rapists" and calling positive masculine qualities "toxic masculinity" and furthering the gender based victim/perpetrator myth that is so prevalent in western society.

Why is it that people find these videos to complain about people raising awareness about sexual violence? Yes, men are victims too. And if you feel they aren't getting enough support, why don't you support them instead of trying to take support away from women? How does this help?
