As a result, I did not have a cohesive understanding of all the new elements I found in Presbyterianism. Actually, I found that most church members, including deacons and elders were rather confused on Presbyterian doctrine as well. I had people ask me Just what do Presbyterians believe? Now thats a fair question and, I think, demands a substantive answer. So I went to work. This book is the product of that work.

@PreachingJesusToAll really? even with the whole gay marriage thing going on, confession of 67 and barthianism, ordination of women? I mean I realize there are some good local churches who deceided to stay in, but as a whole? Really?
