  • the reason u go at 8 its because the behringer mixer outputs bad quality sound if u don`t keep the knobs and faders away from at least 80%

  • This is the law with every mixer. It's the 0db law. I've done other tutes on this. In fact, when you are mixing, sometimes it's best to go -3db. Reason being is because when you turn up 2 channels, you can sometimes get a +3 db increase.

But hey, don't take my word for it. Ask someone who actually knows something about Pro Audio and see what they have to say

  • cool thanks for explaining, i noticed that if you play 2 channels you get distortions right away. thanks :)

  • I've got a newer video on this subject if you search my channel. This time, I use a Denon DN-X1500S mixer

  • hey brian, is ur mixer a USB mixer??

  • Nah, that old mixer was just a regular old mixer.

  • I heard that the upfaders should always be at ten incase you bump the fader, and bumping the fader from 6 or 7 to 10 would be a big jump...

  • you really didn't explain anything about piffles..

  • hi can u listen to a channel with PFL selected through headphones whilst another channel is playing through the master ??? thanks

  • i dont get the pre fade levels :(
