those people deserved more that a medal for what they did. their courage is just really impressive.mostly of occidental people if where in that situation wouldn´t get inside of that reactor knowing the consecuences in their bodies

i find it really strange that we are never even told about this in school. I mean, I am a junior, and this has never been discussed in history, or any class for that matter. I just found out about it today through youtube! How did I not know about an event that almost changed Europes history! Like was said in part 2, if it had exploded , Europe would have been inhabitable, and still would be today. How have we never been taught about this.
