The Pittsburgh Mighty Penguins Intermediate Sled Hockey team vs. Tampa on Friday, April 9, 2010 during the 6th Annual Disabled Hockey Festival at the Gardens Ice House in Laurel Maryland. The Mighty Pens who practice at Bladerunners in Harmarville, PA each week went on to take 2nd place in their division. The team has also competed in tournaments in Ohio, Indiana and Canada this year. Sled hockey provides physically disabled children and adults across the country with the opportunity to play competitive hockey.
