Umm, this song is not about ever lasting love, it is about the break-up of a relationship, and the end of it. The whole album is about the end of a long relationship.

Well I'm glad to see other people happy too! My girlfriend has every The Cure album (the nutcase she is) and Bloodflowers is a pretty good album and great continual of Disintegration (just as it was of Pornography)(yes, those three albums are connected, R.S. said it himself).
I'm also glad to see someone finally(being a metalhead) didn't go crazy over claiming to be Goth...I get that a lot...ignorance sucks...I hope you two stay together just as I hope with mine!
