Wow what an amazing television show, they just don't make stuff like this anymore! This show aired before my dad was even born, I'm a teenager and I LOVE this show even though my friends think I'm insane. But I don't care, I LOVE YOU ADAM!!!!

The mother of Hoss was killed by Indians who were pissed off by the guide leading Ben and a wagon train west. Adam was already a few years old at the time and his mother was already out of the picture. I can't say anything about his mother or Joe's.

i wasnt even born when this show was aired but i have to say im absolutely addicted, its so much better than the rubbish they make these days and i particularly love the family values they put in to the show,
