ECW beat's WWF/E AND WCW at the time for one reason ECW kept on going for quite a while with no big money no promotions no advertisement small hardcore fan based as it was not to appealing to alot of people . Wrestlers such as tommy dreamer even said their was weeks Paul H couldnt even pay them it got that back they were just running on hope jumping station to station Ecw in the 90's beast every kind of wrestling even the attitude era in my opinion! WWE=WRESTLING WAS ENTERTAINING!

every time i read ppl saying the new ECW isn't anything the old ECW was. let me just make it all clear. because they call it ECW you think its gonna be the same as it was? the name didn't make it what it was the wrestlers did.

That he did, and the only reason he sold the rights was because he was going bankrupt, many of the people on ECW went months and people(Like RVD) went years without a paycheck, I just hate how it's portrayed now...nothing like how ECW was before.
