Super Mario 64 - 2 - Thwomp's Fortress!

I'm aware it's called Whomp's Fortress. I'm making fun of myself. But that's unimportant let's get to the stars.

Whomp's Fortress: Star 1
Difficulty: 1
You shouldn't have any problems with this one unless you don't know how to ground pound. (Spoilers: It's Jump + Z or Jump + L if you're using a gamecube controller.) But yeah, despite his large size he's really easy to dodge, you shouldn't have any problems with this guy at all.

Whomp's Fortress: Star 2
Difficulty: 0.5
Arguably the easiest star in the entire game. You shouldn't have any problems at all.

Whomp's Fortress: Star 3
Difficulty: 3
Getting this one is a bit tricky to figure out at first, but once you get a good strategy to get up there using the cannon it's not really difficult at all, be wary though for if you miss the structure holding the star you're probably dead. Just sayin'.

Whomp's Fortress: Star 4
Difficulty: 2
Smaller than Bob-omb Battlefield so therefore the red coins are easier to find, but it's also much easier to die on Whomp's Fortress. So it sort of trades off hard-to-find with difficulty. Again though, not really hard at all.

Whomp's Fortress: 100 Coins
Difficulty: 3
A small level like Whomp's Fortress has a max coins of around 125-ish. So there's not many places to hide them, ergo it shouldn't take you that long to get 100.

Whomp's Fortress: Star 5
Difficulty: 4
Aiming the bird is a LOT harder than I made it look, watch for the shadow of Mario above the open cage and you should be fine. Take note though, the bird is VERY awkward to control.

Stars for Badasses in one hour.
