Back in the Saddle - guitar bass cover- Aerosmith

This is the only correct way to play this song, you need a six string bass tuned like a guitar an octave lower. Perry used a Fender Bass VI, I'm using the Gretsch G5265 Baritone Dou Jet.

This song is one of the great Bass VI songs, without a doubt. Perry was at his creative best when he came up with these riffs.

I really had a zen problem focusing on this song, I guess I should have practiced before recording. There are many mistakes here, and near the end I have no idea what's going on. Still, I'm making this video public for now, I'll probably take it down latter.

There are two bass guitars on the original song: Joe Perry plays a six string bass (with distortion) and Tom Hamilton plays a 4 string bass. I am covering Perry's six string bass lines on my six string bass.

@vivaslasjuan It shouldn't be, just two more strings to learn but if you know your scales and theory it should come quite naturally to you. In fact a six string makes a lot of things easier because you can go across the strings instead of down the neck to hit higher notes.
