  • puresounds suck. You need that angle on the snare end plate like on cheap snappy snare or oem ludwig snares.

  • Puresound wires and evans heads do wonders...but something is wrong with the vids evans posts with this guy tuning usually. They make it sound as if evans and puresound make it worse when in reality its the complete opposite. So long as you know how to tune at least.

  • I like the old ones. I would have maybe tightened the snares just a tad bit, but still keep that sensitivity. The new wires are choked.

  • I'm sorry but the snare wires sound WAY WAY too chocked on the second example. I think the old drum does sound bigger, fuller and with much greater sensitivity I think. Random huh!
