is your OWB (one-way bearing) slipping?

i reccommend a pullstart also... with the rotostart you have to line it up with the engine and make sure it is charged >.>

the spring thats inside that crankshaft that pushes a pin onto the backplate well i think that spring is broke and i cant get my backplate off

hey mine does that 2 m8 your not the only 1 having trouble, im gonna buy a pullstart, 4.6 comes with the crappy rotostart my whole rotostart plate is loose and the cogs inside are mashed, happened after about 7 weeks of me hving it, ive now had it for like 2 years and hadnt used it for about a year.

Take out your one way bearing and clean it all with alchohol. Check your exhuast gasket too.. mine was leaking and getting oil on the roto start and it was causing mine to slip like that.
