Im angry and humiliated says Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan, who was on his way to Chicago to attend an Independence Day function was detained at the Newark Airport and questioned for about two hours before the Indian mission intervened and secured his release. SRK said that he did not expect any special treatment because of his celebrity status but found his detention and questioning at the airport in New Jersey strange and irrelevant.

However, the Shah Rukh Khan incident has evoked mixed reactions. The incident was shocking, but surprising it wasn't. But some Indians have even gone to the extent of calling it a publicity stunt.

After over 70 films to his credit and having ruled Bollywood for nearly two decades, SRK needs stunts to draw crowds to his latest release? Khan brushed aside allegations of the incident being a publicity stunt for his forthcoming film, My Name Is Khan. He said that he doesnt need a stunt to remain in the public eye. And he doesnt even consider being detained and questioned as a matter of pridetake a look!
