Hank B. Marvin & Jeff "Skunk" Baxter Trans-Continental Jam!

Skunk Baxter hooks up with the Grandfather of all British Electric Guitar Heros, Mr. Hank B. Marvin of the Shadows. The Shadows preceeded The Ventures by a number of years with a string of successful instrumental hits. Hank was the first in all of Britain to obtain a Fender Stratocaster back in 1954: Fiesta Red with a maple neck and gold hardware (it was the most expensive guitar in the 1954 Fender catalog, and ordered especially for Hank by his manager). All of the British guitar heros that most people think of are unaware that it was Hank that was their hero. Jeff Beck's version of "Apache" is second only to Hank's, and Peter Townsend studied that song and worked on trying to recreate the magnificent tone and licks.Hank is truly the KING!
