This Muslim Reflection on 9/11

On September 11, 2001, the United States of America was hit by a terrible tragedy. While all of us grieved, none of us could foresee the aftermath of that day, which caused almost 1.5 billion Muslims the world over to inherit an extra adjective to their name - "terrorist."

Neither Islam nor any right-minded Muslim condones the acts of 9/11, and I surely don't. Take a look and see how Muslims in Texas respond to the 10 year anniversary, and see how 9/11 has affected them through the past decade.

This year on 9/11, my friends and I baked up some goodies (credit to Crescent Youth for the awesome idea) to give to firefighters in order to show our appreciation to the men and women protecting our nation... rather than celebrate their losses... as some in the media would have everyone believe. -_-
