  • Precious hardworking attitude, should be adopted by all Singaporeans, whether they are motivated, or influenced by PAP, or whatever. Because being hardworking is not a choice, it is a must. If don't work hard, you think anyone can achieve anything? I doubt so.

  • Wrong: most activists use the "NET" as *one of the ways* to voice out. The important issue to think about here is that we do not have the right to assembly. And please refrain from sarcasm. It is, afterall, the lowest form of wit. In any case, i shall stop having this pointless banter with you, as it's insulting to this video. I shall leave with a quote from a famous site: "The sin is not in being ignorant, but in choosing to remain so."

  • Where do i get my statistics? Don't you watch/read channelnewsasia?! It may serve you better to understand reality abit first. "Exploring this world" is very different from "not being patriotic".

  • "shrinken"

    and worse..."popular"...

    *chuckles*

  • Singaporeans will maintain their "precious hardworking attitude" whether or not they're motivated. They simply do not have the choice. You should wake up and embrace the truth, instead of instilling propaganda in yourself.

  • Where did u get this statistics? Who can verify or honour it to be true? Do u have no faith in your fellow S'poreans? How "Many" exactly are the "Many of you sick of being sheeps"? S'pore is a small land. If some wonder-lust kicks in, it'll show we're normal & do dream of exploring this world. This is very acceptable. But if S'pore is as big as the USA, do u think we'll want to live in other countries? We'll only wanna move across states then. Coz we're a fair and peaceful and efficient nation.

  • If you wanna shout on the streets, think twice. those supposed-"Democratic" countries are Huge titanics compares to "sampan" Singapore. You can jump up and down and throw yourself all about on the titanic and nothing will happen. Try doing it on our precious sampan and it will sink.

  • Look around our neighbours. Then look further. Even to Thailand. Even to China. Or even to Europe or the Americas. Don't most activist now make use of the NET to voice out? And you're complaining using the net to voice out is good enough? So you wanna try surpass other countries? Use telepathy to broadcast your views?

  • And did they achieve it? What we Singaporeans need, is motivation to maintain our precious hard working attitude during 1st of May. We DON'T need motivations to complain or protest pointlessly.

  • What does and does not work is very subjective. You may associate "success" with a car, 5-room HDB flat, and an annual visit to Disneyland, but many of us are sick of being sheep rather than humans. Remember: more than half of our youths want to leave Singapore, and 37% isn't patriotic. Your claims are rendered baseless by simple statistics.
