Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Fan Trailer

Trailer I made for Metal Gear Solid 4! CRANK IT UP!

This trailer took me about a week to do. First I went through the hours of footage searching for good dialogue so that I could get the structure. Then I mined the MGS4 soundtrack for the music (ended up mixing it with MGS2 and MGS3 music for the backend).

With the dialogue and music in place I then had to do all that video conversion and editing which definitely took the longest. The structure changed around a lot once I started putting clips in, and also the rhythm was more established.

After picture editing was done I went back, fixed the sound mix and added sound effects where needed. Finally I made the graphics to give it that final touch of polish!

@stevensu579 That's the main theme from Metal Gear Solid 2, but at the very very end around the missiles being fired it transitions into the theme from Metal Gear Solid 3

@KrystenLucas Thanks so much! This is definitely at the top of my favorite things that I've edited and I'm really proud of this one. More than a trailer I wanted to make a MGS tribute that sums up everything and makes it look super badass. I also love credit montages in trailers and the music for MGS is so damn good it's hard to not make an awesome trailer ^_^
