Video that teaches a kid to use critical thinking as he shops around for a bike. Was this a real band?

  • I think that is Larry Cedar's "Count on It" or "You Can Count on It." And if it isn't, I'd like to see that one anyway :)

  • I used to have this one but unfortunately it got taped over :( I hope someone else can post it.

  • Think about the problem, then step back. Try a different plan of attack. Man, did this get stuck in my head for years. Not just because it was catchy, but because it's really good advice on gathering information, weighing options and then picking the best solution that solves the problem.

  • I especially love the girl spazzing as she wheels in the 400 dollar bike

  • Oh, so THAT'S where I got that phrase from! "Think about the problem, then step back, try a different plan of attack."

  • Did anyone else find this frustratingly inconclusive, or am I just being hyper-critical?

I don't like it. What did he do? Which bike did he buy?? I crave a sequel.

  • WOW!!!!!!! i remember this show from back in the day!!! I almost liked math cause of this......LOL this is totally off someones VCR thanks for bringing back the memories what happened to tv it used to be cool.....like the old school 80's and early 90's cartoons

  • Third Hand was a real group, but I suppose that they didn't have any more hits. Same with Regina and Reimy, who are also only remembered for being on Square One TV.

  • $400 could buy a small country back then!

  • I think Will Smith wrote these lyrics.

  • Does anyone know the date of this clip? (what year it was produced)

The actors are different from the ones on previous Square One episodes, I don't recognize these performers..... not that they did a bad job, but it didn't have as much "math", or teach "critical thinking skills" like I was expecting, I was wondering if this was shown on a later episode or something.....?????

  • it's now been posted!
