if there were a god why would he be a human form?

Yeah maybe 'God' is pure energy which is the singularity and has 'banged' to create this universe so as to create life where there's potential to experience emotions it otherwise cannot experience.
As in Quantum Physics which suggests the atom is somewhat conscoius. If this is true then it means us and all the matter in the cosmos is part of 'god' and is still connected to eachother on an energy level.

I don't think so. As most atheists, I do not rule out the existence of a god, I just have no good reason to believe in a god. But show me eg. irrefutable evidence of the existence of the christian god, and I run through the streets "repent, repent, the end is nigh", and stone some sinners on the way.
My guess is, that most atheists would simply accept such findings (if irrefutable), and that most religious people would simply recect them (even if irrefutable).

I disagree. I do´nt think it would be wonderfull that someone conciously created a world of so much pain and suffering. As a god, he/she/it would not have my trust or sympathy!
however, understanding how life evolved naturally, without any concious entity controlling it, makes me feel the opposite way. Because I´m lucky enough to live as a human in this time in a stable part of the world.
