I used to play this all the time. My dad HATED it because of the "Mr. Taxi Driver man..." voice and the noise played when they're in traffic at 7:40.

I've wanted to hear this book again for years now. I didn't have the recorded book, but the Happy Golden Book. Read this to my daughters so many times--thanks for letting me hear this book again!

That's it! It's like a miracle. I was 19 years old and too young to be a father in 1981. I have fond memories of my little son enjoying this story in an otherwise very difficult time in my life. He's now 29 years old and stands 6'4" tall! He still remembers this and The Happy Man and his Dump Truck. Thank you!
