Don't say that!! He is so much happier now. He can play with his kids a lot longer, he feels healthy and good about himself and he isn't sweating as much is the summer now. Why woud you want him to go back to the fat Shay when he was not happy about himself??

That doesn't happen to everyone. It usually only happens to people that are extremely obese. Starting out at 280 lbs. is not nearly fat enough to have loose skin after weight loss. He wasn't big enough to stretch his skin out too much. If it does happen though, there is a surgical procedure to remove the excess skin.

I totally get what you are saying, but from the other side of the scale. I was "skinny-fat" i know it sounds crazy but it's a thing. Basicly i never gain weight, so i never exercised, so i was weak, always cold, I ate tons of garbage, I was always tired, i looked bony and squishy. I started exercising and eating better and now i feel so good! I feel empowered, better looking, strong and healthy, and that within a couple months. A strong will is all you need!

I understand the whole "I'm FAT" thing. And I understand people saying "No you're not. Or they tell me, but you have such nice eyes" or something. Ya know what? That's all good, but I want to be happy with my body. I want to be able to shop in normal stores for clothes, and I want to be able to play with my beautiful daughter without getting out of breath. I want to be a good role model for her, and right now... I'm not.

I am starting on that journey. I don't know that I will ever have the confidence you have, but I'm hoping to feel better. Geez, though! I KNOW that whole "Dang, can't tie my shoes" and "Heartburn, again!?" I know it. I wear slip on shoes because I can't tie my stinkin shoes. I hate it. Well, I don't HATE wearing slip ons, but I'd really like it if sneakers and such weren't a hassle. I'm very petite, and I'd like my weight to match that! I know this is an old video, I just wanted to say thanks!
